Anxiety project

The Anxiety Project is a whole-school initiative designed to support students in managing anxiety and building resilience through a strong community approach. The program aims to reduce anxiety levels among children by equipping staff, students, and families with practical strategies grounded in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT).

Unlike many general wellbeing programs, The Anxiety Project specifically targets anxiety using evidence-based CBT methods adapted for early intervention. Teachers are supported to implement simple, effective CBT-informed classroom techniques that help students recognise, manage, and reduce anxious thoughts and behaviours, fostering a calmer and more confident learning environment.
